Job description

Installation: Install water purification systems, including reverse osmosis (RO) systems, water filters, and UV purifiers, in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Connect water purification units to water sources, plumbing lines, and electrical outlets according to manufacturer specifications and installation guidelines. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance checks, inspections, and servicing of water purification systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. Clean filters, replace cartridges, and sanitize system components to remove contaminants, scale buildup, and microbiological growth. Troubleshoot system malfunctions, diagnose issues, and perform repairs or component replacements as needed. Water Quality Testing: Conduct water quality tests and analyses to assess the effectiveness of water purification systems in removing impurities, contaminants, and pathogens from drinking water. Use water testing kits, meters, and laboratory equipment to measure parameters such as pH, total dissolved solids (TDS), chlorine levels, and microbial contamination. System Upgrades and Retrofits: Upgrade existing water purification systems with advanced filtration technologies, improved components, or additional features to enhance water quality and performance. Retrofit outdated or malfunctioning systems with new parts, upgrades, or modifications to restore functionality and extend system lifespan. Customer Support: Provide technical support, assistance, and guidance to customers regarding water purification system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Answer customer inquiries, address concerns, and offer recommendations for system upgrades, replacement parts, or service contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Emergency Service Calls: Respond to emergency service calls and urgent repair requests from customers experiencing water purification system failures, leaks, or malfunctions. Prioritize service calls, troubleshoot issues onsite, and perform repairs or temporary fixes to restore water supply and system functionality in a timely manner. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and service logs for each water purification system installation, maintenance visit, and repair service performed. Record details of system specifications, parts replaced, service procedures, and customer interactions for reference and compliance purposes. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and guidelines governing water quality, drinking water safety, and water treatment practices. Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in water purification to maintain quality and regulatory compliance. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of replacement parts, consumables, and supplies needed for water purification system maintenance and repairs. Order replacement components, filters, membranes, and chemicals in a timely manner to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize downtime for service calls. Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to prevent occupational hazards, injuries, and accidents during installation, maintenance, and repair activities. Use personal protective equipment (PPE), follow safe work practices, and prioritize safety in all work environments to protect oneself and others from harm.
