Serving Food and Beverages: Delivering dishes and beverages to guests' tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Providing Recommendations: Assisting guests in selecting menu items by offering recommendations and describing dishes. Ensuring Guest Satisfaction: Checking in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and courteously. Handling Payments: Presenting bills to guests, processing payments, and returning change or processing credit card transactions accurately. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping tables, dining areas, and service stations clean and tidy throughout service, including resetting tables for new guests. Assisting with Special Events: Supporting the team during special events or busy periods by providing additional service as needed. Product Knowledge: Having a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer questions and provide information to guests. Upselling: Suggesting additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Adhering to Health and Safety Standards: Following proper food handling and safety protocols, including maintaining personal hygiene and cleanliness.
