Taking Orders: Listen to customers' food and beverage preferences, answer questions about menu items, and take accurate orders. Up-Selling: Suggest additional menu items, appetizers, desserts, or beverages to increase sales and enhance the dining experience. Communicating with the Kitchen: Transmit orders to the kitchen staff, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation. Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver orders to tables, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to customers' preferences. Checking on Guests: Regularly check on customers to ensure satisfaction with their meals, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handling Payments: Present bills to customers, process payments accurately, and provide change if necessary. Clearing Tables: Clear tables of empty dishes, glasses, and utensils between courses and after meals. Cleaning and Setting Tables: Set tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware before guests arrive. Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and condiment holders between customers. Following Health and Safety Guidelines: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, utensils, and cleaning materials. Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Handling Customer Complaints: Address any customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate them to management if necessary.
