Providing assistance with seating arrangements and accommodating special requests or preferences. Taking Orders: Taking food and beverage orders from guests in a courteous and attentive manner. Providing recommendations and descriptions of menu items, and answering any questions about the menu. Order Accuracy: Ensuring accuracy in taking orders and recording special requests or modifications. Communicating any dietary restrictions or allergies to the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly. Serving Food and Beverages: Serving food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently. Presenting dishes with care and attention to detail, and verifying that orders are complete and accurate before serving. Table Maintenance: Monitoring tables throughout the meal to ensure that guests have everything they need, such as utensils, condiments, and refills. Clearing empty plates and glassware promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area. Upselling and Recommending: Suggesting additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Upselling higher-priced menu items when appropriate. Handling Payments: Presenting the bill to guests, processing payments accurately, and providing change or processing credit card transactions. Thanking guests for their patronage and inviting them to return. Customer Assistance: Addressing any concerns or complaints raised by guests promptly and professionally. Resolving issues to the best of your ability or escalating them to a manager as needed.
