Knowledge of Menu: Having a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions, to provide recommendations and answer questions from guests. Serving Food and Beverages: Delivering orders to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and garnishing. Refilling drinks and clearing empty plates and glasses as needed. Customer Interaction: Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Upselling and Promotions: Promoting special menu items, desserts, and beverages to increase sales and enhance the dining experience for guests. Handling Payments: Presenting bills to guests, processing payments accurately, and returning change or processing credit card transactions efficiently. Table Maintenance: Keeping tables clean and tidy, resetting tables between guests, and ensuring that table settings are complete and in good condition. Collaboration with Kitchen and Bar Staff: Communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Coordinating with other waitstaff to maintain smooth service flow. Problem-solving: Resolving guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management as needed to ensure guest satisfaction. Attention to Detail: Paying attention to detail in order accuracy, presentation, and service timing to deliver a high-quality dining experience.
