Assisting guests with seating arrangements and accommodating special requests or preferences. Taking Orders: Presenting menus to guests, describing menu items, and providing recommendations if requested. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions. Serving Food and Beverages: Communicating orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of food and drinks to guests' tables. Presenting dishes and beverages attractively and verifying order accuracy before serving. Checking in with Guests: Checking in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction, answer questions, and address any concerns. Refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and offering additional assistance as needed. Upselling and Promotion: Suggesting additional menu items, specials, or promotional offers to guests to enhance their dining experience and increase sales. Providing information about featured dishes, desserts, and beverages. Handling Payments: Presenting bills to guests, processing payments accurately and efficiently, and providing change or processing credit card transactions. Thanking guests for their patronage and inviting them to return. Maintaining Cleanliness: Clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests depart, ensuring tables are clean, tidy, and properly set for the next guests. Assisting with general cleanliness and organization of the dining area. Knowledge of Menu and Restaurant: Familiarizing yourself with the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions. Providing information about the restaurant's history, ambiance, and services to guests. Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth and efficient service.
