Tyre Retreading Job in Kasargod

Kasargod, Kerala Full Time Date: 20 June 2024

Job description

Initial Inspection: The old tire is inspected to assess its overall condition and suitability for retreading. This includes checking for sidewall integrity, tread depth, and any damage that may affect retreadability. Buffing: The old tread and any surface imperfections are removed from the tire using a buffing machine. This prepares the tire surface for the application of new tread. Repair and Reinforcement: Any punctures or damage to the tire casing are repaired, and reinforcing materials may be added to strengthen the tire structure. Applying New Tread: A new layer of tread rubber is applied to the buffed tire casing using specialized equipment. This tread is molded and vulcanized (cured) onto the tire to ensure adhesion and durability. Curing: The retreaded tire undergoes a curing process where heat and pressure are applied to bond the new tread to the tire casing. This process may involve using autoclaves or other curing chambers to achieve the desired bond strength. Final Inspection: Once cured, the retreaded tire undergoes a final inspection to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards. This includes checking tread depth, uniformity, and overall appearance.
