Tyre Retreading Job in Alappuzha

Alappuzha, Kerala Full Time Date: 23 May 2024

Job description

Initial Inspection: The tire undergoes a thorough inspection to assess its condition and determine if it's suitable for retreading. Tires with significant damage or wear may not be eligible for retreading. Buffing: The old tread and any surface imperfections are removed from the tire using a specialized machine called a buffer. This process prepares the tire for the application of new tread rubber. Applying New Tread: A new layer of tread rubber is applied to the buffed tire using a process called "building." The type and pattern of tread applied depend on the intended use of the tire (e.g., highway, off-road). Curing: The tire is placed in a curing chamber where heat and pressure are applied to bond the new tread rubber to the tire casing. This process ensures the integrity and durability of the retreaded tire. Final Inspection: Once the curing process is complete, the retreaded tire undergoes a final inspection to ensure quality and safety standards are met. This inspection includes checking for any defects or irregularities that could affect performance.
