A motorcycle technician diagnoses faults, repairs, replaces parts and does routine services on motorcycles, motor scooters, mopeds and all terrain vehicles (ATVs). Motorcycle mechanics are responsible for testing performance and driveability, troubleshooting small-engine vehicles and diagnosing engines. They may work for motorcycle dealerships servicing and fixing specific types of bikes, or they may work on all types of bikes in repair shops.
