Job description

Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or other issues with two-wheeled vehicles. Use specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to diagnose problems accurately. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and tire inspections. Check and adjust fluid levels, including engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid. Engine Repair and Tune-Up: Repair and tune-up engines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Clean carburetors, adjust ignition timing, and replace worn-out components, such as spark plugs, ignition coils, and fuel filters. Brake System Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and replace brake components, including brake pads, brake shoes, brake discs, and brake lines. Bleed and flush brake fluid to maintain braking performance and safety. Suspension and Steering Repair: Inspect and repair suspension and steering components, including shocks, struts, forks, and steering bearings. Adjust suspension settings to optimize ride comfort and handling. Electrical System Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical system issues, including wiring problems, lighting malfunctions, and battery issues. Test and replace electrical components, such as batteries, alternators, starters, and voltage regulators. Fuel System Maintenance: Clean and adjust carburetors or fuel injection systems to ensure proper fuel delivery and combustion. Inspect and replace fuel filters, fuel lines, and fuel pumps as needed. Transmission and Drive System Service: Inspect and service transmissions, clutches, and drive belts to ensure smooth and reliable power delivery. Adjust drive chain tension and lubricate drive components to prevent premature wear and tear. Wheel and Tire Service: Mount and balance tires, inspect tire tread depth, and replace tires when necessary. Check wheel bearings, spokes, and rims for damage or wear and perform repairs as needed. Safety Inspections: Perform safety inspections and roadworthiness checks to ensure that two-wheeled vehicles meet regulatory standards and are safe to operate. Advise customers on any necessary repairs or maintenance to address safety concerns. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with customers about vehicle diagnoses, repair options, and cost estimates. Address customer concerns and questions professionally and courteously. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document parts used, labor hours, and service procedures for billing and warranty purposes.
