Job description

Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identifying mechanical, electrical, and other issues with two-wheelers by conducting diagnostic tests, inspecting components, and listening to customer descriptions of problems. Repair and Maintenance: Performing repairs and maintenance tasks such as engine overhauls, brake adjustments, carburetor cleaning, oil changes, tire replacements, chain adjustments, and electrical system repairs. Part Replacement: Removing and replacing damaged or worn-out parts such as brakes, spark plugs, filters, cables, bearings, belts, chains, and other components to restore the vehicle's functionality. Tuning and Adjustment: Tuning engines, adjusting carburetors, setting ignition timing, and fine-tuning other systems to optimize performance, fuel efficiency, and overall reliability. Welding and Fabrication: Performing welding and fabrication work to repair or customize frames, exhaust systems, and other metal components as needed. Electrical System Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems such as faulty wiring, malfunctioning lights, ignition system issues, and battery-related problems. Brake and Suspension Service: Inspecting, servicing, and repairing brake systems, including drum and disc brakes, as well as suspension components such as forks, shocks, and struts. Customer Service: Interacting with customers to understand their concerns, provide estimates for repair costs, explain repair procedures, and ensure customer satisfaction with the service provided. Safety Inspections: Conducting safety inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensure that vehicles meet regulatory standards and roadworthiness requirements. Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, services performed, parts used, and customer information to track vehicle history and facilitate warranty claims or future maintenance. Continuing Education: Staying updated on the latest advancements in motorcycle technology, repair techniques, and safety standards through training programs, workshops, and industry publications. Shop Maintenance: Keeping the workshop clean, organized, and well-equipped with tools, equipment, and supplies needed to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
