Job description

Vehicle Inspection: You inspect two-wheeled vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, or other issues affecting performance, safety, or functionality. You visually inspect components, test systems, and use diagnostic tools to assess vehicle condition and determine repair requirements. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Based on inspection findings and customer complaints, you diagnose mechanical problems, malfunctions, or failures affecting two-wheeler performance. You use technical knowledge, diagnostic equipment, and repair manuals to identify root causes and develop repair solutions. Repair and Maintenance: You perform repairs and maintenance tasks to address identified issues and restore two-wheeler functionality and performance. This includes repairing or replacing components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and exhaust systems. Tune-Ups and Adjustments: You perform tune-up and adjustment procedures to optimize two-wheeler performance, including adjusting engine timing, carburetor settings, valve clearances, and ignition systems. You also lubricate moving parts, tighten bolts and fasteners, and perform other preventative maintenance tasks. Parts Replacement: You replace worn, damaged, or faulty parts with new or refurbished components to ensure safe and reliable two-wheeler operation. This may include replacing tires, brake pads, spark plugs, filters, belts, chains, bearings, and other critical components. Electrical Repairs: You troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring harnesses, batteries, ignition systems, lighting systems, and electronic control units (ECUs). You diagnose electrical faults, repair wiring issues, and replace defective electrical components as needed. Welding and Fabrication: In some cases, you may perform welding and fabrication work to repair or modify two-wheeler frames, chassis, or other metal components. You use welding equipment and metalworking tools to weld cracks, reinforce structures, or fabricate custom parts as required. Testing and Quality Assurance: After completing repairs or maintenance tasks, you conduct functional tests and quality checks to ensure that two-wheelers operate safely and reliably. You test vehicle systems, verify proper operation of repaired components, and perform road tests to confirm vehicle performance. Customer Communication: You communicate with customers to explain repair findings, discuss repair options, and provide estimates for repair costs and timelines. You address customer questions or concerns, provide updates on repair progress, and ensure that customers are satisfied with the service provided. Safety and Compliance: You adhere to safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices in performing repairs and maintenance tasks. You use personal protective equipment (PPE), follow safety procedures, and comply with environmental regulations when handling hazardous materials or fluids.
