Job description

Vehicle Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of two-wheeled vehicles to identify any mechanical, electrical, or structural issues. Check components such as brakes, tires, suspension, engine, and electrical systems for wear, damage, or malfunction. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose the root cause of mechanical problems and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, equipment, and manual testing methods. Identify symptoms, noises, or performance issues reported by customers to pinpoint underlying problems accurately. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to restore two-wheeled vehicles to optimal condition. Replace worn or damaged parts, repair faulty components, and adjust settings to ensure proper functioning and safety. Engine Overhaul: Overhaul motorcycle engines to repair or replace worn-out components, such as pistons, cylinders, valves, gaskets, and timing belts. Clean engine parts, lubricate moving components, and reassemble engines according to manufacturer specifications. Brake and Suspension Service: Inspect and service braking systems, including brake pads, discs, calipers, and hydraulic lines, to ensure proper operation and safety. Check suspension components, such as forks, shocks, and bearings, and perform adjustments or replacements as needed. Electrical System Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, ignition systems, lighting, and charging systems. Test electrical components using multimeters, circuit testers, and diagnostic software to identify faults and ensure proper function. Fuel System Maintenance: Clean, inspect, and tune carburetors or fuel injection systems to optimize fuel delivery and engine performance. Check fuel filters, pumps, and lines for blockages or leaks and perform adjustments or replacements as necessary. Tire and Wheel Service: Inspect tires for wear, damage, or punctures and recommend replacements if needed. Perform tire mounting, balancing, and alignment to ensure safe handling and stability of two-wheeled vehicles. Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, chain adjustments, and fluid flushes, to prolong the lifespan of vehicles and prevent premature wear and tear. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their concerns, provide repair recommendations, and explain repair procedures and costs. Address customer questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner. Workshop Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials. Continued Learning and Training: Stay updated on new technologies, diagnostic techniques, and repair procedures in the automotive industry. Participate in training programs, workshops, and certifications to enhance skills and knowledge.
