Knowledge of Tea: Have a thorough understanding of different types of tea, including black, green, oolong, white, and herbal varieties. Familiarize yourself with the flavor profiles, brewing techniques, and health benefits associated with each type of tea. Tea Selection: Assist customers in selecting teas based on their preferences, offering recommendations and descriptions of different tea flavors, aromas, and caffeine levels. Suggest suitable options for different occasions, moods, or dietary requirements. Brewing Tea: Brew tea using the appropriate method and temperature for each type of tea, ensuring that the flavor and aroma are fully extracted without becoming bitter or overpowering. Use precise measurements and timing to achieve consistent results. Tea Presentation: Serve brewed tea in clean and attractive teapots, cups, or mugs, garnishing each cup with lemon wedges, honey, sugar, or milk as requested by the customer. Pay attention to presentation details to enhance the overall tea-drinking experience. Customization: Offer customization options for customers, allowing them to adjust the strength, sweetness, or temperature of their tea according to their preferences. Provide additional flavorings or additives such as spices, syrups, or fruit infusions upon request. Tea Accessories: Maintain and organize tea accessories such as teapots, infusers, strainers, and tea timers, ensuring that they are clean, sanitized, and readily available for use. Educate customers on how to use tea accessories properly for brewing and serving tea. Knowledge of Ingredients: Be knowledgeable about the ingredients used in tea blends and specialty drinks, including herbs, spices, fruits, and botanicals. Provide information about the health benefits, flavor profiles, and origins of different tea ingredients. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations as needed. Ensure that customers receive prompt and attentive service and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that tea-making equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are kept clean and sanitized at all times to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety. Follow proper hygiene practices and sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on tea trends, brewing techniques, and new tea products in the market.
