Tea Selection: Offer a variety of teas to customers, including different types such as black tea, green tea, herbal tea, and specialty blends. Familiarize yourself with the flavor profiles, characteristics, and brewing methods of each type of tea to assist customers in making selections. Brewing: Brew tea according to the specific instructions for each type of tea, including water temperature, steeping time, and tea-to-water ratio. Use quality tea leaves or tea bags, filtered water, and appropriate brewing equipment, such as teapots, infusers, or brewing baskets. Customization: Accommodate customers' preferences for tea strength, sweetness, and flavorings by adjusting brewing parameters or adding milk, sugar, honey, lemon, or other flavor enhancers as requested. Presentation: Serve tea in appropriate teaware, such as teacups, mugs, or teapots, and present it attractively to customers. Pay attention to details such as cleanliness, garnishes, and accompaniments to enhance the visual appeal of the tea service. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable manner, providing assistance, recommendations, and information about teas and tea-related products. Answer questions about tea origins, flavors, brewing techniques, and health benefits to enhance the customer experience. Quality Control: Ensure that tea is brewed to high standards of quality, consistency, and freshness. Monitor brewing parameters, taste samples periodically, and adjust brewing methods as needed to maintain quality and customer satisfaction. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of tea leaves, tea bags, accessories, and other supplies needed for tea service. Place orders for replenishment as needed and rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tea preparation area, including brewing equipment, utensils, and serving surfaces. Follow sanitation protocols, such as washing hands, sanitizing equipment, and storing tea properly to prevent contamination. Upselling and Cross-Selling: Recommend additional products or services to customers, such as pastries, desserts, or retail tea products, to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. Highlight complementary flavors or pairings to encourage additional purchases. Cash Handling: Process payments accurately and efficiently for tea orders, using cash registers, POS systems, or other payment processing tools. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and electronic payments securely and in compliance with company policies.
