Menu Preparation: Work with resort management to develop a menu of teas, featuring a variety of options such as black, green, herbal, and specialty teas from different regions and cultures. Tea Selection: Select and procure high-quality tea leaves, tea bags, and other ingredients from reputable suppliers, ensuring freshness, flavor, and authenticity for a superior tea-drinking experience. Water Temperature: Boil water to the appropriate temperature for different types of tea, following brewing instructions and guidelines to achieve optimal flavor extraction and infusion. Brewing Techniques: Brew tea using proper brewing techniques, including steeping times, water-to-tea ratios, and infusion methods, to ensure that each cup of tea is brewed to perfection and meets guests' preferences. Presentation: Serve tea in elegant teapots or cups, accompanied by saucers, spoons, and other accessories as appropriate, ensuring a visually appealing presentation that enhances the overall tea-drinking experience for guests. Customization: Accommodate guest preferences and special requests by offering customization options such as adding milk, sugar, honey, lemon, or other flavorings to tea, adjusting strength or sweetness levels, and recommending suitable pairings or alternatives. Knowledge Sharing: Provide information and education to guests about different types of tea, brewing methods, flavor profiles, and health benefits, engaging in conversation and answering questions to enhance guests' appreciation and enjoyment of tea. Hygiene and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tea preparation area, including teapots, cups, utensils, and storage containers, following sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of tea supplies, accessories, and condiments, ordering replenishments as needed to ensure availability and freshness, and minimizing waste through efficient usage and storage practices. Customer Service: Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, taking orders, providing recommendations, and accommodating special requests, ensuring a positive and personalized experience for each guest. Upselling: Suggest additional items such as pastries, desserts, or specialty teas to complement guests' tea orders and enhance their overall experience, using knowledge of menu offerings and guest preferences to make relevant suggestions. Cash Handling: Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, using cash registers or POS systems to ring up orders, handle cash transactions, and provide receipts, maintaining accountability and accuracy in financial transactions.
