Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. Providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and job satisfaction. Store Operations: Managing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing schedules, and cash management. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory control processes, including receiving, stock replenishment, and inventory counts. Monitoring stock levels, identifying slow-moving or excess inventory, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover. Sales and Revenue Generation: Setting sales targets and developing strategies to drive sales growth and increase store profitability. Analyzing sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and maximize revenue. Customer Service: Ensuring that customers receive excellent service and assistance from store staff. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations promptly and effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Merchandising and Visual Presentation: Ensuring that merchandise is displayed effectively, according to company guidelines and seasonal promotions. Managing store layout, signage, and visual merchandising to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. Marketing and Promotions: Implementing marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and increase store traffic. Collaborating with marketing teams to execute local marketing strategies and events. Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing and managing the store budget, expenses, and profitability targets. Monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, and taking corrective actions as needed to achieve financial objectives. Vendor and Supplier Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize product assortment, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Conducting regular store audits and inspections to identify and address any compliance issues or safety hazards. Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for store staff to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service excellence. Supporting career advancement and succession planning within the team. Performance Management: Evaluating individual and team performance against sales targets, customer service standards, and operational KPIs. Providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and recognition to reward achievements and address areas for improvement.
