Quality Control: Inspecting incoming goods for quality and condition, identifying any damaged or defective items, and coordinating returns or exchanges with suppliers as necessary. Organization: Organizing storage areas and maintaining proper storage methods to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient retrieval of goods. Stock Rotation: Implementing first-in, first-out (FIFO) or other inventory rotation systems to minimize waste and ensure that older stock is used or sold before newer items. Documentation: Keeping detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments, and preparing reports as needed for management or accounting purposes. Security: Ensuring the security of stored goods by implementing appropriate access controls, such as locking storage areas and monitoring inventory movements.
