Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and developing course materials, lesson plans, and activities focused on improving spoken English proficiency. Tailoring content to the needs and proficiency levels of students. Speaking Practice: Providing ample opportunities for students to practice speaking English in various contexts and situations. Conducting speaking activities, discussions, role-plays, and simulations to enhance fluency and confidence. Pronunciation and Intonation: Helping students improve their pronunciation, intonation, and accent to communicate more effectively in English. Providing guidance on correct pronunciation of sounds, stress patterns, and rhythm. Vocabulary Building: Teaching vocabulary relevant to everyday conversation, as well as specialized vocabulary related to students' interests, professions, or areas of study. Introducing new words and phrases in context and encouraging students to use them in speaking exercises. Grammar and Sentence Structure: Reinforcing grammar rules and sentence structures through spoken exercises and activities. Correcting grammatical errors and providing explanations as needed to improve accuracy in spoken English. Listening Comprehension: Integrating listening activities and exercises to improve students' comprehension skills. Exposing students to a variety of accents, speech styles, and spoken English formats to develop listening proficiency. Feedback and Correction: Providing constructive feedback on students' spoken English performance, including pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary usage, and fluency. Offering correction and guidance to help students improve their speaking skills. Confidence Building: Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence in speaking English. Offering praise, encouragement, and motivation to students as they make progress in their spoken English abilities. Cultural Awareness: Incorporating cultural topics and discussions into lessons to help students develop cultural competence and navigate cross-cultural communication situations effectively. Interactive Teaching Methods: Using a variety of teaching techniques and resources to engage students and promote active participation in spoken English activities. Incorporating multimedia, games, role-plays, and real-life scenarios to make learning enjoyable and effective.
