Quality Control: Inspecting incoming spare parts to verify quality and compliance with specifications and standards. Implementing quality control measures to ensure that only authorized and high-quality parts are used for repairs or replacements. Distribution and Dispatch: Coordinating the distribution of spare parts to various departments or service centers within the organization. Planning and optimizing routes for efficient delivery of parts to minimize downtime and meet operational needs. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements using inventory management systems or software. Generating reports on inventory status, usage, and trends for management review and decision-making. Cost Management: Monitoring and controlling costs associated with spare parts inventory, including storage, transportation, and procurement expenses. Parts Identification and Cataloguing: Ensuring accurate identification, labeling, and cataloguing of spare parts for easy retrieval and inventory tracking.
