Recipe Development: Develop and refine recipes for traditional South Indian dishes, ensuring authenticity while also incorporating modern twists and innovations. Food Preparation: Expertly prepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, curries, biryanis, and chutneys, using traditional cooking methods and techniques. Ingredient Selection: Source high-quality, fresh ingredients such as rice, lentils, vegetables, seafood, and spices, ensuring authenticity and flavor in each dish. Spice Blending: Master the art of blending spices to create aromatic and flavorful masalas, powders, and pastes used in South Indian cooking, such as garam masala, sambar powder, and curry pastes. Cooking Techniques: Employ traditional South Indian cooking techniques such as tempering (tadka), roasting, grinding, steaming, and frying to achieve the desired flavors and textures in dishes. Presentation: Plate and present South Indian dishes attractively, paying attention to color, texture, and arrangement to enhance the dining experience.
