Ingredient Selection: Sourcing high-quality ingredients, spices, and condiments essential for South Indian cooking, ensuring freshness and authenticity. Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients by chopping, marinating, grinding spices, and cooking techniques such as tempering (tadka), sautéing, frying, and steaming. Cooking Techniques: Mastering traditional South Indian cooking techniques such as tempering (tadka), grinding masalas (spice pastes), and preparing staple items like dosa batter and idli batter. Dish Presentation: Plating dishes attractively, incorporating traditional garnishes and accompaniments such as chutneys, pickles, and papadums to enhance visual appeal. Quality Control: Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of dishes across all servings, maintaining high standards of quality and authenticity.
