Ingredient Selection and Procurement: Source high-quality, fresh ingredients such as rice, lentils, vegetables, spices, and herbs for use in South Indian cooking. Establish relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of fresh produce and specialty items. Cooking Techniques: Master various cooking techniques specific to South Indian cuisine, such as tempering spices, grinding masalas, and fermenting batters. Utilize different cooking methods, including steaming, frying, grilling, and sautéing, to achieve the desired taste and texture in each dish. Presentation and Plating: Plate South Indian dishes attractively, paying attention to color, texture, and presentation.
