Cooking Techniques: Mastering traditional South Indian cooking techniques such as tempering, grinding spices, and using unique cooking vessels like tawa (griddle) and uruli (bronze vessel). Flavor Balancing: Understanding the delicate balance of flavors in South Indian cuisine, which typically includes elements of spicy, tangy, sour, and savory tastes. Presentation Skills: Creating visually appealing presentations of South Indian dishes, paying attention to color, texture, and garnishes.
