Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and planning instructional units, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards and educational objectives in social sciences. Integrating multiple disciplines to provide a holistic understanding of societal issues, historical events, geographical phenomena, economic principles, and political systems. Classroom Instruction: Delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities of students. Using a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, debates, case studies, simulations, and multimedia resources to facilitate learning. Subject-Specific Knowledge: Teaching key concepts, theories, and methodologies in history, geography, civics, economics, and other social sciences. Exploring historical events, geographical features, civic responsibilities, economic theories, and societal structures to deepen students' understanding. Critical Thinking and Analysis: Promoting critical thinking skills by analyzing primary and secondary sources, evaluating different perspectives, and forming reasoned arguments. Encouraging students to apply analytical skills to interpret data, charts, maps, and texts related to social science topics. Cultural and Global Awareness: Exploring cultural diversity, global interconnections, and the impact of globalization on societies through case studies and comparative analysis. Discussing current events, global issues, and international relations to foster global citizenship and cultural sensitivity.
