Store Operations Management: Overseeing all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring the shop is adequately staffed. Monitoring inventory levels, ordering merchandise, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. Customer Service Excellence: Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained by greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Training and coaching staff on customer service skills and handling customer interactions professionally. Sales and Performance Management: Setting sales targets and goals for the shop and motivating staff to achieve them. Monitoring sales performance, analyzing trends, and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability. Staff Recruitment and Training: Recruiting, hiring, and training new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and implementing development plans for staff members. Visual Merchandising and Store Layout: Planning and implementing attractive displays, product merchandising, and promotions to maximize sales and enhance the shopping experience. Ensuring the shop layout and signage are appealing and conducive to customer navigation. Inventory Control and Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and managing stock rotation and replenishment. Implementing inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate stock records. Financial Management and Reporting: Managing shop budgets, expenses, and financial transactions, including cash handling and banking procedures. Generating sales reports, analyzing financial data, and making data-driven decisions to optimize shop performance. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean shopping environment for customers and staff. Implementing security measures to protect shop assets and prevent theft or loss. Supplier and Vendor Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise. Evaluating supplier performance and sourcing new suppliers as needed. Community Engagement and Marketing: Engaging with the local community through outreach activities, promotions, and community events to increase shop visibility and customer loyalty. Collaborating with the marketing team to implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities to drive foot traffic and sales. Continuous Improvement and Development: Staying updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Implementing process improvements, training programs, and operational efficiencies to enhance shop performance and profitability.
