Job description

Store Operations: Managing all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising store staff. Providing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and skilled team. Customer Service: Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. Resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Sales and Revenue Generation: Setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to achieve or exceed sales goals. Analyzing sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth. Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandise displays. Monitoring inventory turnover, conducting regular stock checks, and managing stock control procedures. Product Knowledge: Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products or services offered in the store. Providing product information, recommendations, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities to customers. Visual Merchandising: Ensuring attractive and effective merchandising displays that promote products and maximize sales. Implementing visual merchandising guidelines and seasonal promotions. Financial Management: Monitoring expenses, controlling budgets, and optimizing profitability. Managing cash handling procedures, banking, and financial transactions accurately and securely. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for staff and customers. Conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed. Marketing and Promotions: Planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive customer traffic and increase sales. Collaborating with marketing teams or agencies to implement marketing strategies. Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics. Analyzing data to assess store performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize operations. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Engaging with customers, collecting feedback, and using insights to improve products, services, and the overall shopping experience.
