Job description

Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising store employees. This includes scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to staff members. Customer Service: Ensuring that customers receive excellent service by greeting them, assisting with inquiries, addressing complaints or concerns, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store. Sales and Performance Monitoring: Setting sales targets and goals for the store and monitoring performance to ensure that targets are met or exceeded. This may involve analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability. Inventory Management: Overseeing the ordering, receiving, and stocking of merchandise to ensure that the store has adequate inventory levels. This includes monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and identifying slow-moving or obsolete items. Visual Merchandising: Ensuring that the store layout and displays are visually appealing and effectively showcase products to attract customers and drive sales. This may involve arranging merchandise, creating attractive displays, and implementing promotional signage. Financial Management: Managing the store budget, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability. This includes tracking sales and expenses, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Store Operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, security measures, and maintenance of the store facilities.
