Job description

Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and motivating store staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets. Delegating tasks, assigning responsibilities, and conducting performance evaluations to maintain a productive and cohesive team. Visual Merchandising: Planning and implementing attractive and effective displays, signage, and product layouts to showcase merchandise and attract customers. Ensuring that the store's visual presentation aligns with the brand image and enhances the shopping experience. Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandise rotation to optimize product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Conducting regular stock audits and inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability. Sales and Revenue Generation: Setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and meet revenue goals. Analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing promotional initiatives to maximize sales opportunities. Customer Service: Ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service at all times. Resolving customer complaints, inquiries, and issues effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Financial Management: Managing the store budget, expenses, and cash handling procedures to ensure financial stability and profitability. Monitoring sales performance, expenses, and profit margins to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and distributors to source quality products, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise. Evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts or agreements as needed. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, safety standards, and industry guidelines governing retail operations. Adhering to health and safety regulations, labor laws, and licensing requirements to maintain a safe and lawful workplace. Marketing and Promotions: Collaborating with marketing teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and attract new customers. Utilizing various marketing channels such as social media, email, and print advertising to reach target audiences. Store Maintenance and Security: Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the store premises, including interior and exterior areas, fixtures, and equipment. Implementing security measures such as surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security personnel to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing store performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
