Job description

Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate retail staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stock clerks. Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service from staff. Address customer complaints, inquiries, and feedback in a timely and satisfactory manner, resolving issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Sales and Revenue Generation: Set sales targets, develop sales strategies, and implement promotional campaigns to drive store traffic and increase sales revenue. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify trends to make informed decisions about pricing, product selection, and marketing initiatives. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandise displays to ensure adequate stock availability and optimal product presentation. Conduct regular inventory audits, monitor stock movement, and minimize shrinkage or loss through effective inventory control measures. Visual Merchandising: Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies to create visually appealing displays, window presentations, and product layouts that attract and engage customers. Ensure that merchandise is displayed according to brand standards, seasonal themes, and promotional campaigns to maximize sales opportunities. Financial Management: Prepare and manage the store budget, including expenses, payroll, and operational costs, to achieve profitability targets and financial objectives. Monitor sales performance against budgeted targets, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability and efficiency. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement marketing initiatives, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. Leverage digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and local advertising opportunities to reach target customers and promote store visibility. Compliance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing retail operations, including labor laws, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to sales transactions, inventory management, and financial operations to meet regulatory obligations. Security and Loss Prevention: Implement security measures and loss prevention strategies to minimize theft, shoplifting, and inventory shrinkage. Train staff on security protocols, surveillance systems, and theft prevention techniques to safeguard store assets and reduce losses. Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with the local community, customers, and stakeholders through active participation in community events, sponsorships, and partnerships. Represent the store as a brand ambassador and advocate for customer loyalty, community involvement, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
