Team Management: Supervise and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service by greeting them warmly, addressing inquiries and concerns, and resolving any issues promptly and effectively. Foster a customer-centric culture among staff members. Sales and Revenue Generation: Set sales targets, develop sales strategies, and monitor sales performance to achieve revenue goals. Implement promotions, discounts, and marketing initiatives to drive sales and attract customers. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, replenishment, and stock rotation to ensure adequate product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy. Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the shop floor layout, displays, and signage are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards. Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales opportunities and enhance the shopping experience. Operational Efficiency: Optimize operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows. Implement best practices in areas such as cash handling, POS systems, and store maintenance. Budgeting and Expense Management: Develop and manage the shop's budget, including expenses such as payroll, supplies, utilities, and maintenance. Monitor expenses closely and identify areas for cost savings or optimization. Vendor and Supplier Management: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure merchandise, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain positive relationships. Evaluate supplier performance and seek opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to health and safety, labor laws, and retail operations. Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers. Marketing and Promotion: Coordinate marketing activities and promotional campaigns to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost sales. Utilize various channels, including social media, email marketing, and local advertising, to reach target audiences. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to track progress and identify trends.
