Job description

Store Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service by greeting them warmly, assisting with inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Sales Performance: Set sales targets and goals for the store and motivate the sales team to achieve them. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to increase revenue and meet or exceed targets. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and other team members. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support staff development and ensure high performance. Visual Merchandising: Maintain attractive and visually appealing store displays, product arrangements, and signage to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Regularly update displays to showcase new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal offerings. Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reorder merchandise as needed to prevent stockouts and minimize overstock situations. Implement inventory management systems and procedures to track stock movement accurately. Financial Management: Monitor and manage store budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness. Prepare financial reports, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures as appropriate. Marketing and Promotions: Plan and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract customers, increase foot traffic, and drive sales. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop advertising campaigns and promotional materials. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff. Implement safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and address any safety concerns promptly. Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and negotiate favorable terms and pricing. Evaluate supplier performance and explore new sourcing opportunities as needed. Customer Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with customers and cultivate a loyal customer base through personalized service, loyalty programs, and follow-up communication. Solicit feedback from customers and use it to improve products and services. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in retail management. Seek opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and efficiency gains to optimize store performance and customer satisfaction.
