Job description

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of Ayurvedic medicines, herbal supplements, wellness products, and health-related merchandise, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and replenish stock through ordering from suppliers or vendors as needed. Visual Merchandising: Design and maintain attractive product displays and visual merchandising arrangements to showcase products effectively and drive sales. Ensure that the shop layout, signage, and product presentation align with the clinic's branding and marketing strategies. Sales and Revenue Generation: Set sales targets, goals, and objectives for the shop, developing sales strategies and promotional campaigns to increase revenue and profitability. Train and motivate sales staff to achieve sales targets, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback as needed. Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, greeting them warmly, answering their questions, and assisting them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences. Address customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Product Knowledge and Education: Stay informed about Ayurvedic principles, health benefits, and usage guidelines for products sold in the shop, providing accurate information and education to customers. Train shop staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques to enhance their product knowledge and sales effectiveness. Order Management and Fulfillment: Receive and process customer orders, either in-person or through online platforms, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, packaging, and delivery. Coordinate with shipping and delivery services to ensure timely and efficient order processing and fulfillment. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing and promotional efforts to increase shop visibility, attract foot traffic, and drive customer engagement. Implement marketing initiatives, such as discounts, promotions, loyalty programs, and special events, to stimulate sales and enhance customer loyalty. Financial Management: Manage shop finances, including cash handling, sales transactions, and daily reconciliation of cash registers or POS systems. Track sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare reports on shop revenue, expenses, and profitability for management review. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing retail operations, such as health and safety regulations, product labeling requirements, and sales tax regulations. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory movements, and customer information in accordance with data protection and privacy laws. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate shop staff, fostering a positive work environment, teamwork, and professional development. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to staff members to help them achieve their full potential and contribute to the shop's success.
