Job description

Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling retail staff members, including sales associates, cashiers, and stock personnel. Providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure team productivity and customer satisfaction. Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction by greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, ordering merchandise, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels. Monitoring product sales, trends, and demand to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Visual Merchandising: Overseeing the layout and presentation of merchandise in the store to create visually appealing displays and promote product visibility. Implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience. Sales Performance: Setting sales targets and goals for the store and motivating staff to achieve them. Monitoring sales performance, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and meet or exceed sales targets. Financial Management: Managing store finances, including cash handling, banking, and accounting procedures. Monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability while adhering to budgetary constraints. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborating with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and attract new customers. Utilizing advertising, signage, and social media to promote the store and its offerings. Compliance and Security: Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety standards, labor laws, and retail industry regulations. Implementing security measures to protect the store, employees, and customers from theft or vandalism. Vendor and Supplier Management: Establishing relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Monitoring vendor performance and evaluating supplier options to ensure quality products and timely deliveries. Store Maintenance: Overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the store premises. Addressing any maintenance issues or repairs promptly to create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff. Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to track store performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyzing data to make informed decisions and develop strategies to optimize store operations.
