Job description

Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise shop staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and other personnel. Provide guidance, motivation, and feedback to ensure high levels of performance and customer service. Visual Merchandising: Plan and execute visually appealing displays and layouts to showcase products effectively and attract customers. Ensure that the shop's appearance is clean, organized, and in line with brand standards. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent overstocking or stockouts. Coordinate with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed and minimize shrinkage through effective inventory control measures. Sales and Customer Service: Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and sales assistance to customers. Encourage and train staff to engage with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products to enhance their shopping experience. Sales Targets and Performance: Set sales targets and goals for the shop and monitor performance against these targets. Implement strategies to drive sales, increase foot traffic, and maximize revenue while maintaining profitability. Financial Management: Manage the shop's budget, expenses, and financial performance, including monitoring sales revenue, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability. Prepare and analyze financial reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Marketing and Promotions: Plan and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract customers and increase sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and promotional strategies. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing retail operations, including labor laws, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements. Customer Feedback and Satisfaction: Solicit feedback from customers to understand their needs, preferences, and satisfaction levels. Use customer feedback to make improvements to products, services, and the overall shopping experience. Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Resolve issues effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and staff by implementing safety protocols, security measures, and emergency procedures. Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access controls to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security incidents. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains within shop operations. Implement changes, initiatives, and best practices to optimize performance and enhance the overall effectiveness of the shop.
