Job description

Customer Interaction: Greeting customers and listening to their concerns regarding their vehicles. Discussing symptoms, issues, and any specific problems they may have noticed. Vehicle Inspection: Conducting preliminary inspections of vehicles to assess the nature and scope of required repairs or maintenance. This may involve test-driving the vehicle and performing visual inspections. Service Recommendations: Advising customers on recommended maintenance schedules based on vehicle manufacturer guidelines and current condition. Recommending specific services, repairs, or parts replacements as needed. Cost Estimates: Providing accurate cost estimates for recommended services and repairs. Explaining the breakdown of costs, including labor and parts, to the customer. Service Scheduling: Coordinating service appointments and scheduling repairs with the service department. Ensuring efficient use of workshop capacity and aligning with customer availability. Customer Education: Educating customers about the importance of regular maintenance and explaining technical details in an understandable manner. Answering questions about services, warranties, and vehicle care. Parts Ordering: Ordering necessary parts and accessories for repairs or maintenance. Ensuring availability of parts and coordinating with the parts department for timely delivery. Service Updates: Providing updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicle during the service process. Communicating any delays, additional repairs needed, or changes to the initial estimate. Quality Assurance: Performing quality checks on completed repairs to ensure work meets dealership standards and customer expectations. Conducting final inspections before returning vehicles to customers. Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Following up with customers after service to ensure their needs were met and addressing any further questions or issues. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and work performed on each vehicle. Ensuring paperwork is completed thoroughly and correctly. Compliance and Safety: Adhering to dealership policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Following industry standards and guidelines for automotive service and repair.
