Job description

Team Leadership: Supervising and coordinating the activities of security personnel, including security guards, officers, and patrol teams, to ensure effective deployment and coverage of security resources. Training and Development: Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to security staff on security protocols, procedures, and emergency response protocols, as well as conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback for improvement. Security Planning: Developing security plans, strategies, and protocols to mitigate risks, deter threats, and maintain a safe and secure environment, including conducting security assessments and implementing appropriate security measures. Patrol and Surveillance: Conducting regular patrols and surveillance of assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches, unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities, and responding promptly to incidents or alarms. Access Control: Implementing access control measures such as monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and enforcing access restrictions to protect against unauthorized entry or trespassing. Emergency Response: Coordinating and directing emergency response activities in situations such as fires, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or security threats, including evacuations, lockdowns, and contacting emergency services as needed. Incident Management: Investigating security incidents, accidents, or breaches, documenting findings, and preparing incident reports for management review, as well as implementing corrective actions or preventive measures to address vulnerabilities. Security Technology: Utilizing security technology and systems such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and communication devices to enhance security monitoring, surveillance, and communication capabilities. Customer Service: Interacting with clients, tenants, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their security concerns or inquiries, and providing assistance or guidance as needed to ensure positive interactions and experiences. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to security operations, as well as maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reporting to demonstrate regulatory compliance. Risk Management: Identifying security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats through risk assessments and security audits, and developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize potential impacts on safety and security. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as facility management, human resources, and legal departments, as well as external stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies, to address security concerns, share information, and coordinate response efforts effectively.
