Job description

Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitoring surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security breaches. Conducting patrols of the premises to visually inspect for any signs of suspicious activity or potential security threats. Access Control: Controlling access to the premises by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and monitoring entry and exit points. Enforcing access control policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Emergency Response: Responding promptly to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or security incidents. Taking appropriate action to mitigate risks, protect people and property, and summon emergency responders as needed. Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts or disputes among individuals on the premises in a calm, professional, and non-confrontational manner. Using conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and maintain a safe and orderly environment. Patrols and Inspections: Conducting regular patrols of the premises to deter criminal activity, identify security vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security policies. Inspecting doors, windows, fences, and other physical barriers to ensure they are secure and functioning properly. Report Writing and Documentation: Documenting security incidents, observations, and activities in written reports or incident logs. Providing detailed descriptions of incidents, including the nature of the incident, individuals involved, actions taken, and any follow-up measures required. Risk Assessment and Prevention: Identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities through risk assessments and security audits. Implementing preventive measures such as installing security cameras, lighting, alarms, and physical barriers to deter criminal activity. First Aid and CPR: Administering first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in emergency medical situations until professional medical help arrives. Maintaining current certifications in first aid and CPR to ensure readiness to respond to medical emergencies. Customer Service: Providing assistance, information, and directions to visitors, tenants, or employees as needed. Serving as a point of contact for inquiries, requests, or concerns related to security and safety. Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Coordinating with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders to report incidents, request assistance, and collaborate on security-related matters. Training and Professional Development: Participating in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to security procedures, emergency response, and relevant laws and regulations. Maintaining Confidentiality and Integrity: Handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality regarding security protocols, investigations, and personnel matters. Demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior in all aspects of security operations.
