Job description

Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to identify and address security risks or suspicious activities. 2. Access Control: Control access to buildings, facilities, or restricted areas by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and enforcing entry and exit procedures. Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering secured areas. 3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, including medical emergencies, fires, or criminal activities. Implement emergency response protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of occupants and property. 4. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts or disputes between individuals in a calm and professional manner, using de-escalation techniques and interpersonal skills to defuse tense situations. Maintain a visible presence and communicate effectively to deter disruptive behavior or confrontations. 5. Report Writing and Documentation: Document security incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare incident reports, log entries, and other documentation for review by management or law enforcement agencies as needed. 6. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to safety and security. Implement preventive measures and security protocols to mitigate risks and protect against potential hazards. 7. Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to staff members, tenants, or occupants on security policies, procedures, and best practices. Educate individuals on emergency response protocols, evacuation procedures, and personal safety measures. 8. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to share information and coordinate security efforts. Collaborate with other departments or external partners to address security-related concerns or incidents. 9. Physical Fitness and Readiness: Maintain physical fitness and readiness to respond to security incidents or emergencies effectively. Participate in regular training exercises and drills to hone skills and test emergency response procedures. 10.
