Job description

Surveillance: Monitor resort premises, including hotel grounds, entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and other public spaces, using surveillance cameras and patrols. Watch for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or potential security threats. Access Control: Control access to the resort by verifying the identification of guests, employees, and visitors. Enforce entry and exit procedures, issue visitor passes, and ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry into restricted areas. Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular patrols of the resort's interior and exterior areas to deter criminal activity and ensure compliance with resort policies and procedures. Inspect doors, windows, locks, and other security features for signs of tampering or damage. Crowd Control: Manage crowds and maintain order during special events, concerts, or other gatherings held at the resort. Provide assistance and guidance to guests, direct traffic, and intervene in situations that may escalate into disturbances. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, accidents, or security breaches. Coordinate with emergency services, evacuate guests and staff if necessary, and provide assistance to emergency responders as directed. Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and diffuse tense situations between guests or staff members. Use verbal de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills to resolve disputes peacefully and maintain a safe environment. Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities on resort property. Monitor inventory, conduct bag checks, and enforce policies related to the protection of assets and valuables. First Aid and CPR: Be trained in basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies. Administer first aid, perform CPR, and summon medical assistance as needed until professional help arrives. Report Writing: Document incidents, accidents, and security-related activities in detailed reports. Record relevant information such as the nature of the incident, individuals involved, actions taken, and any follow-up required for management review and legal purposes. Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful customer service to guests, offering assistance with directions, information, or other inquiries. Serve as a visible and approachable presence, offering reassurance and support to guests while maintaining a professional demeanor.
