Job description

Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor premises, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems to detect suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards. Conduct regular patrols to maintain visibility and deter unauthorized access. Access Control: Control access to secured areas by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining entry logs. Enforce access control policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment. Security Screening: Conduct security screening of individuals, vehicles, and packages entering or exiting the premises. Use metal detectors, X-ray machines, or other screening equipment to detect prohibited items or contraband. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, security incidents, or alarms. Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks, evacuate personnel, and notify emergency responders as needed. Follow established protocols for crisis management and emergency procedures. Incident Reporting: Document and report security incidents, accidents, or unusual activities in incident reports. Record relevant details, observations, and actions taken to provide an accurate account of events for investigation and follow-up. Crowd Control: Manage crowds and maintain order during events, gatherings, or public demonstrations. Implement crowd control measures, direct pedestrian traffic, and intervene in disruptive behavior to ensure the safety of participants and bystanders. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts, disputes, or disturbances peacefully and professionally. Use effective communication and de-escalation techniques to defuse tense situations and prevent escalation to violence. First Aid and CPR: Provide basic first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in response to medical emergencies or injuries. Administer emergency medical care until professional medical help arrives. Loss Prevention: Implement loss prevention measures to reduce theft, vandalism, and shrinkage. Conduct inventory checks, monitor merchandise movement, and enforce security protocols to safeguard assets and minimize financial losses. Fire Safety: Enforce fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures to prevent fires and ensure the safety of occupants. Conduct fire drills, inspect fire suppression systems, and educate personnel on fire safety practices. Training and Awareness: Provide security training and awareness programs to employees, tenants, or visitors. Educate individuals on security procedures, safety precautions, and emergency response protocols to enhance security awareness and preparedness. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security professionals to coordinate security efforts and share information. Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders to address security concerns and coordinate responses effectively.
