Job description

Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, including entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas. Verify the identity of individuals entering the facility and ensure that only authorized personnel and visitors are granted access. Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter criminal activity, vandalism, and trespassing. Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect and respond to security threats or suspicious behavior. Crowd Management: Maintain order and crowd control during events, gatherings, or emergencies. Manage crowd flow, enforce venue policies, and intervene in conflicts or disturbances to ensure the safety and security of participants and attendees. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, security breaches, and natural disasters. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks, evacuate occupants if necessary, and coordinate with emergency responders to resolve the situation. Security Checks: Conduct security checks of bags, packages, and vehicles entering the premises to prevent the entry of prohibited items, weapons, or contraband. Use metal detectors, X-ray machines, and other screening devices as needed to ensure security. Alarm Response: Respond to security alarms, intruder alerts, and other emergency signals promptly and effectively. Investigate the cause of alarms, assess the situation, and take appropriate action to address any security breaches or threats. Report Writing: Document security incidents, observations, and activities in detailed incident reports or logbooks. Record relevant information such as the time, location, nature of the incident, individuals involved, and actions taken. Communication: Maintain effective communication with other security personnel, supervisory staff, and external stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and property management. Use two-way radios, phones, and other communication devices to relay information and coordinate responses. Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to building occupants, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner. Address inquiries, concerns, and requests for assistance promptly, demonstrating a customer-centric approach to security services. Risk Assessment: Identify potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses within the premises through security assessments and audits. Make recommendations for security improvements, enhancements, and risk mitigation measures to minimize security threats and vulnerabilities. Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance your knowledge, skills, and proficiency in security procedures, emergency response techniques, and conflict resolution strategies. Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow established security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and best practices in security management.
