Job description

Security Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the dealership's facilities, assets, and personnel from theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security threats. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify potential security vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and areas of concern, and develop strategies and countermeasures to mitigate risks and enhance security measures. Access Control: Manage access control systems, including key control, badge issuance, electronic access cards, and entry/exit monitoring, to regulate access to restricted areas and ensure only authorized personnel and visitors are granted entry. Surveillance and Monitoring: Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security technologies to monitor the dealership's premises and detect suspicious activities or security breaches in real-time. Security Personnel Management: Supervise and train security guards, officers, or personnel responsible for patrolling the premises, conducting security checks, and responding to security incidents or emergencies, ensuring professionalism, vigilance, and adherence to security protocols. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols to address threats such as fires, natural disasters, accidents, or security incidents, and conduct regular drills or training exercises to ensure readiness. Incident Investigation: Investigate security incidents, breaches, accidents, or thefts that occur on dealership premises, collect evidence, interview witnesses, and collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to resolve security-related issues and prevent recurrences. Physical Security Measures: Implement physical security measures such as perimeter fencing, lighting, bollards, and security barriers to deter unauthorized access, protect sensitive areas, and safeguard valuable assets such as vehicles, parts, and equipment. Cybersecurity: Collaborate with IT departments or external cybersecurity experts to implement cybersecurity measures, such as network security, data encryption, firewalls, and antivirus software, to protect digital assets, customer information, and dealership systems from cyber threats. Security Awareness Training: Provide security awareness training and education to dealership employees, contractors, and vendors to raise awareness of security risks, promote best practices for security hygiene, and empower personnel to recognize and respond to security threats effectively. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with security regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements related to security operations, privacy protection, data security, and workplace safety, maintaining documentation and records as evidence of compliance efforts. Vendor Management: Evaluate and oversee security service providers, contractors, and vendors engaged to provide security-related services such as alarm monitoring, security guard services, or security equipment installation, ensuring quality of service and adherence to contractual obligations.
