Job description

Physical Security: Implementing measures to protect physical assets such as vehicles, facilities, equipment, and inventory from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. This includes installing security fences, gates, locks, and surveillance cameras, as well as employing security guards or patrols to monitor premises. Access Control: Regulating access to restricted areas within automotive facilities, including showrooms, service bays, parts warehouses, and administrative offices. Using access control systems such as keycards, biometric scanners, or PIN codes to authenticate and authorize entry for authorized personnel only. Surveillance Systems: Installing surveillance cameras and monitoring systems to deter criminal activity, record security incidents, and provide evidence for investigations. Utilizing CCTV cameras, motion sensors, and alarm systems to detect and respond to security breaches in real-time. Alarm Systems: Implementing alarm systems to detect unauthorized entry, intrusion, or suspicious activity in automotive facilities. Integrating alarms with monitoring services or security personnel to initiate immediate response and mitigate potential threats. Perimeter Security: Securing the perimeter of automotive facilities with barriers, bollards, and fencing to prevent unauthorized access by vehicles or pedestrians. Implementing vehicle barriers, gates, and access control points to control vehicular entry and exit. Inventory Control: Implementing inventory control measures to track and monitor the movement of vehicles, parts, and supplies within automotive facilities. Using inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and RFID technology to manage stock levels, prevent loss or theft, and ensure accurate inventory records. Cybersecurity: Protecting digital assets and systems from cyber threats, data breaches, and unauthorized access. Implementing cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, and secure network protocols to safeguard sensitive information and prevent cyber attacks. Employee Training: Providing security awareness training and education to employees to promote a culture of security and vigilance. Training staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and reporting suspicious behavior to enhance overall security posture. Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures to address security threats, natural disasters, and other emergencies. Conducting regular drills, exercises, and simulations to test readiness and ensure effective response and recovery. Vendor Security: Implementing security protocols and screening procedures for vendors, suppliers, and contractors accessing automotive facilities. Verifying credentials, conducting background checks, and enforcing security requirements to mitigate risks associated with third-party access. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to security in the automotive sector. Adhering to legal requirements, industry guidelines, and safety standards to mitigate liability and uphold corporate responsibility.
