Job description

Surveillance: Monitoring premises, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems to detect and prevent suspicious activities or security breaches. Access Control: Controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining entry logs to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises. Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols of the property to deter criminal activity, inspecting doors, windows, and other entry points for signs of tampering, and reporting any security concerns or breaches. Emergency Response: Responding promptly to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, and following established protocols to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of occupants. Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts or disturbances between individuals peacefully and professionally, using verbal de-escalation techniques and, if necessary, applying physical restraint or contacting law enforcement for assistance. Customer Service: Providing assistance and information to visitors, employees, or residents, such as giving directions, escorting individuals to their destinations, or answering inquiries about security procedures. Report Writing: Documenting security incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed written reports, and submitting them to supervisors or law enforcement agencies as required. Equipment Operation: Operating security equipment such as metal detectors, X-ray machines, access control systems, two-way radios, and CCTV cameras effectively to enhance security measures. First Aid: Administering first aid or CPR in case of medical emergencies and providing basic medical assistance until professional medical help arrives. Security Planning: Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to the specific needs and risks of the facility or organization. Training and Awareness: Participating in security training sessions, drills, and exercises to enhance skills, knowledge, and preparedness for potential threats or emergencies. Collaboration: Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, property managers, and other security personnel to coordinate security efforts and effectively address security challenges.
