Job description

Surveillance: Monitor surveillance cameras and patrol the resort premises to detect and deter suspicious activities, unauthorized access, and security breaches. Remain vigilant and observant at all times to identify potential security threats or risks. Access Control: Control access to restricted areas of the resort, including guestrooms, staff-only areas, and back-of-house facilities. Verify credentials, issue access badges or keys, and enforce access policies to maintain security. Guest Assistance: Provide assistance and guidance to guests regarding security procedures, emergency protocols, and safety precautions. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, or requests for assistance with professionalism and empathy. Crowd Control: Manage crowds and large gatherings during events, parties, or peak periods to maintain order and ensure the safety of guests and staff. Implement crowd control measures, direct pedestrian traffic, and intervene in conflicts or disturbances as necessary. Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, security breaches, and natural disasters. Follow established emergency procedures, evacuate guests and staff if necessary, and coordinate with emergency responders to ensure a timely and organized response. First Aid and CPR: Administer first aid, CPR, or other emergency medical assistance to guests or staff in need. Maintain certification in first aid and CPR and stay updated on emergency response protocols to provide effective assistance in medical emergencies. Incident Reporting: Document all security-related incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences in detailed incident reports. Record relevant information such as time, location, individuals involved, actions taken, and any damage or injuries sustained. Lost and Found: Manage the lost and found process for lost or misplaced items reported by guests or staff. Document found items, secure them properly, and assist guests in retrieving their belongings in accordance with resort policies and procedures. Security Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate security equipment and tools, including surveillance cameras, metal detectors, radios, and emergency response kits. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and readiness. Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and emergency services to address security concerns, report incidents, and collaborate on crime prevention initiatives. Assist law enforcement personnel as needed during investigations or emergencies. Training and Education: Participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance security knowledge, skills, and competencies. Stay updated on industry best practices, security technologies, and emerging threats to effectively fulfill security responsibilities. Guest Education: Educate guests about security measures, safety precautions, and emergency procedures during their stay at the resort. Provide information about fire exits, evacuation routes, and emergency contact numbers to empower guests to respond effectively in case of emergencies.
