Job description

Physical Security: Implementing access control measures to regulate entry and exit points within automotive facilities, including gates, fences, and security checkpoints. Conducting regular patrols and surveillance of premises to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security threats. Installing and maintaining security cameras, alarms, and intrusion detection systems to monitor activity and respond to security incidents promptly. Asset Protection: Safeguarding valuable assets such as vehicles, parts, equipment, and inventory from theft, damage, or misuse. Implementing inventory control measures, including barcode scanning, RFID tracking, and inventory audits, to prevent loss or shrinkage. Personnel Security: Conducting background checks, screening procedures, and verification processes for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure they meet security requirements. Providing security awareness training and safety protocols to employees to educate them on security risks and emergency procedures. Emergency Response: Developing and implementing emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols to address security threats, natural disasters, or other emergencies. Conducting regular drills and training exercises to prepare personnel for emergency situations and ensure a coordinated response. Cybersecurity: Protecting automotive systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, including hacking, malware, and data breaches. Implementing cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard sensitive information and digital assets. Supply Chain Security: Ensuring the security and integrity of the automotive supply chain, including transportation logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks. Implementing supply chain security measures such as cargo tracking, tamper-evident seals, and chain-of-custody procedures to prevent theft, counterfeiting, or tampering. Regulatory Compliance: Complying with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements related to security, including those mandated by government agencies and regulatory bodies. Conducting regular security assessments, audits, and inspections to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement. Vendor and Contractor Management: Establishing security requirements and protocols for vendors, suppliers, and contractors involved in automotive operations or service delivery. Conducting due diligence checks, contract reviews, and performance evaluations to ensure that third-party entities meet security standards and contractual obligations. Incident Management: Responding to security incidents, breaches, or breaches promptly and effectively, following established incident response procedures and protocols. Documenting security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
