Job description

Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitoring premises, facilities, or designated areas using surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and patrols to detect and prevent security breaches, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities. Access Control: Controlling access to restricted areas or sensitive locations by verifying identification, issuing access badges or passes, and enforcing security protocols to prevent unauthorized entry or trespassing. Patrol and Inspection: Conducting regular patrols and inspections of premises or facilities to deter criminal activity, identify security vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security procedures. Reporting any irregularities, hazards, or security concerns to appropriate personnel. Emergency Response: Responding promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms to mitigate risks and ensure the safety and well-being of occupants. Following established protocols for handling emergencies such as fire, medical emergencies, or security threats. Crowd Control: Managing crowds and controlling access during events, gatherings, or emergencies. Directing traffic, guiding evacuations, and providing assistance to ensure the safety of attendees and participants. Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts or disputes among individuals in a calm and professional manner. Mediating disagreements, de-escalating tense situations, and enforcing rules and regulations to maintain order and security. First Aid and Medical Assistance: Providing first aid and emergency medical assistance to individuals in need. Administering CPR, applying basic medical treatment, and coordinating with emergency responders to ensure prompt and effective care. Reporting and Documentation: Documenting security incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports or logs. Recording information such as time, date, location, individuals involved, and actions taken for future reference and analysis. Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security professionals to coordinate responses to security incidents or emergencies. Providing assistance and information to support investigations or enforcement efforts. Security Training and Education: Participating in security training programs, drills, and exercises to enhance skills, knowledge, and readiness. Staying updated with security protocols, procedures, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development. Customer Service: Providing assistance, information, and directions to visitors, employees, or occupants as needed. Responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing reassurance to promote a safe and secure environment. Continuous Improvement: Evaluating security procedures, protocols, and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement. Implementing changes, upgrades, or enhancements to enhance security effectiveness and responsiveness.
