Job description

Surveillance: Monitor surveillance cameras and patrol resort grounds to detect and deter any suspicious activity or security breaches. Remain vigilant at all times and promptly investigate any unusual incidents or disturbances. Access Control: Control access to the resort premises by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and issuing visitor passes or access cards as necessary. Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry into restricted areas. Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular patrols of the resort grounds, including hotel lobbies, parking areas, recreational facilities, and guest rooms. Inspect doors, windows, and other access points to identify any security vulnerabilities or safety hazards. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, natural disasters, or security threats. Implement emergency protocols, evacuate guests and staff if necessary, and coordinate with local authorities as required. Crowd Control: Manage crowd flow and maintain order during special events, concerts, or large gatherings held at the resort. Ensure that guests comply with resort policies and regulations to prevent disruptions or conflicts. Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to guests and visitors, including providing directions, answering inquiries, and offering assistance with luggage or transportation. Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts or disputes among guests or staff in a calm and diplomatic manner. Use effective communication and conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and prevent further escalation. Report Writing: Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in detailed incident reports. Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and patrols for future reference and analysis. Training and Awareness: Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development. Educate resort staff on security awareness and emergency response procedures to enhance overall security preparedness. Collaboration: Collaborate with other resort departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to address security concerns and coordinate response efforts. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.
