Job description

Surveillance: Monitoring surveillance cameras and patrolling premises to ensure the security of the facility and its occupants. Access Control: Enforcing access control measures by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. Security Checks: Conducting security checks on individuals, bags, or vehicles entering or leaving the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized items from entering. Emergency Response: Responding promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies such as medical emergencies, fires, or security breaches, and following established protocols for reporting and response. Crowd Control: Maintaining order and ensuring the safety of attendees at events, concerts, or public gatherings by managing crowds, directing traffic, and addressing disruptive behavior. Conflict Resolution: Mediating conflicts or disputes among individuals in a calm and professional manner, de-escalating tense situations, and resolving conflicts peacefully. Patrols and Inspections: Conducting regular patrols and inspections of the premises to identify security risks, hazards, or vulnerabilities, and taking corrective action as needed to mitigate risks. Security Policies and Procedures: Enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and promoting a culture of safety and security among staff and visitors. Communication: Maintaining effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders through two-way radios, phones, or other communication devices to coordinate security activities and respond to incidents efficiently. Documentation and Reporting: Documenting security incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, logs, or incident forms, and providing accurate and timely reports to management or law enforcement as required. Training and Awareness: Participating in security training programs, drills, or exercises to enhance skills, knowledge, and preparedness for security threats or emergencies, and promoting security awareness among staff and visitors. Collaboration: Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security professionals to share information, coordinate responses, and address security challenges effectively.
